La Cafeteria is a beloved café in Daly City with a loyal in-person following — but their social media didn't reflect that. Posting was sporadic, the brand voice changed from post to post, and engagement was minimal. Our job was to turn social into a real channel for the business.

Content strategy

We built a monthly content calendar focused on three pillars: menu highlights, behind-the-scenes moments from the café, and community/customer features. The mix gives followers a reason to come back — and gives the team a clear plan instead of scrambling for ideas each week.

Brand voice

We dialed in a warm, welcoming, slightly playful brand voice and applied it consistently across every caption and reply. Instead of generic café copy, posts now sound like La Cafeteria — which is what builds the connection that turns followers into regulars.

Posting cadence

A consistent posting schedule (4–5 posts per week across Instagram and Facebook, plus Stories) replaced the previous on-again-off-again approach. Consistency, more than anything else, is what compounds on social — and what the algorithm rewards.

Community engagement

We added active community management — replying to comments and DMs within hours, engaging with other local Daly City accounts, and surfacing user-generated content from customers. The result is a feed that feels alive rather than broadcast-only.

Results

A consistent, recognizable presence across Instagram and Facebook. Steady week-over-week growth in engagement and saves. A content system that the team can sustain — and that's actively bringing customers into the café.
