Client context
Arkland Landscape Construction is a Bay Area landscape construction company (CA License #1017855). They handle landscape enhancements, renovations, new construction, tree services and commercial work across the Peninsula, South Bay, East Bay and Marin.
The challenge
Arkland was rebranding. The new name needed a website of its own, built from scratch, and a way to turn visitors into estimate requests the owner could act on fast. All of that had to happen without losing the Google ranking the business had already earned and without breaking the company email on the way.
What we built
- Rebrand website, built from scratch. A custom-coded site (Next.js on Vercel) for the new Arkland brand, designed for phones first, then tuned for tablets and desktop.
- Service pages. Five service pages (landscape enhancements, renovation, new construction, tree services and commercial) plus a services overview.
- 12 project pages. Each one built around real job photos from Arkland's own work.
- Service-area page. A map of the 61 Bay Area cities and communities Arkland serves, grouped by region.
- About and Team page. Who Arkland is and who does the work.
- Lead-scoring estimate form. A multi-step "Request an estimate" form that scores each lead as Hot, Warm or Not qualified and texts the owner the moment it comes in.
- Private lead dashboard. A mobile dashboard with stage tabs, notes, one-tap call and text, and a manual "Add lead" button for phone and walk-in leads.
- Two Meta ads landing pages. One for pavers and one for artificial turf. The headline changes to match the ad someone clicked.
- Six static ad creatives. Three for pavers and three for turf, in feed and story sizes.
- Tracking. GA4, the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API, so every estimate request can be tied back to where it came from.
- Redirects from the old domain. Old URLs point to the matching new pages, so the Google ranking the business already had carries over.
- Domain and email move. We moved the domain and DNS off the old web host without breaking the owner's company email, and added SPF and DKIM email authentication.
The site went live on arklandca.com on October 31, 2026.

Built for phones first, then tablets
We designed every page at phone width first, because that is where most homeowners look up a landscaper. Many of Arkland's customers also browse on iPads, so we then tuned each page for tablet sizes before desktop. Buttons stay big, forms stay short, and the estimate form is never more than a tap away.

Ready for Meta ads
We built two landing pages, one for pavers and one for artificial turf, and six static ads to send traffic to them. Each page's headline changes to match the ad that was clicked, so the promise in the ad is the first thing people read. GA4, the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API are in place, so once ads run we can see which ads bring in real estimate requests.

What we run now
The build was the start. We now run Arkland's SEO, social media management and Meta ads management on a monthly retainer.
Results
The site launched in October 2026 and the ads haven't started yet. We only publish real numbers, so results will be added here once there's real data to show.
